Tohoku trip: Day 1.

I am back from the Tohoku trip. We flew back to Okinawa yesterday morning at 3a.m. Our trip was really good and we were all tremendously blessed in everything that we were able to do.

We left July 29th dark and early on a 4:30a.m. flight and flew into Tokyo 7a.m. There we had to wait for another girl that was taken a later flight to get in.

Resting at the airport before our flight...3a.m.
Once we got into Tokyo we found a place to sit and have some breakfast.

we also ran into Daichi at the airport in Okinawa!
so he joined us for a little while until he had to take off to take care of his own business.

a train station in Tokyo.
Cotton was our guide all throughout Tokyo. Felt a bit interesting to have a foreigner guide you through Japan, but I guess that's how it goes if he has lived in Mainland before. I'm glad someone was there who knew how to get around.
We were also able to meet up with Emi and catch up on her life.

1st we stopped by Harajuku than to Shinjuku. after we parted with Emi...our journey began.
The pastor in CC Fuchu gave us the directions to get to the church, but for some reason we ended up getting lost and something that was supposed to be like a 20minute walk ended up being about an hour walk with our luggages...

we were lost and exhausted from being up so early and walking around every where in Tokyo.
at this point, I remembered that I had a church bulletin from the church in Fuchu from last summer and was able to get the address for the church.
so we walked a little back down the street where we could catch a city bus to take us all the way back to where we were...and finally made it to the church after about 10hours of moving around.
