At work...
yesterday, i was cleaning when a white american guy came up to me. First i thought he needed help finding something...but then he said to me "long time no see" i think i had the most confused face coz i really couldn't even remember seeing him as one of the customers.
he told me that he had seen me once about 6 months ago! that was when i started working at family mart...he've noticed me speaking a little english back then and told me that ever since he has never seen me working. hahaha...that's probably because i dont work a whole lot...but it was funny that he kept on looking for me for this past 6 months coz i have no clue of who he was.
before i was also introduced to a wife of one of the customers that i had happened to help. i really didnt know what to say to his wife because pretty much they were a stranger to me.
somethimes they ask for my name..once i had to shake hands..i've been asked to teach japanese.. some people remember me from Maxvalu (my job before)
i always have fun speaking to all the americans that are surprised to hear me speak english. but one thing that i dont like is when they ask me questions, there is a line waiting behind them...
I love being able to speak English. thanks to my parents for putting me into a international/ american school though my reading and writing in Japanese might not be so good...
