Day 4!
Things started picking up pace for us on Monday. There was a matsuri( festival) going on HIgashimatsushima that day and we wanted to do something as a little outreach. So we got together and bought some yakitoris, guitar pick ups, and few other stuff and drove to Higashimatsushima where one of the Calvary's in Tokyo had rented a building to start a cafe to have a place to start doing some outreaches.
We brough the grill and started grilling some yakitori and set up the sound system and played some worship while some went around the neighborhood passing out tracts.
this lady lives in neighborhood. She used to own a yakitori restaurant for 6years and gave us some tips on how to properly cook them. She stayed with us the whole time we were there, but sadly she doesn't usually remember anything the next day. But our God is bigger than that and is able to speak to her heart.
The people out here are hopeless, and they are just trying to get back to the life that they used to have, but God caused this thing not so that they can go back to their old life but for a new one. Please keep praying for the people of Japan that they will come to know Jesus and the promise of hope He has for us.

the longest and the biggest firework show I've seen. If was done for the people around this area to encourage them. You look up into the sky and it's beautiful, but you look down and you see the destrction...
people were sitting down on refrigerators and broken down rocks and what not...
