German Unity Day
October 3rd is a holiday known as "German Unity" day. I don't know how many years ago, but this is the day that the Berlin Wall came down. Most of the stores are closed, and the school is on holiday. I really like the fact that the Germans spend holidays with family doing acitivities such as cycling. I also see alot of old couples taking walks around here, and it makes me really happy.
And another joyous factor is that it's not raining today! The weather forecast showed rain the whole week, but it has been beautiful here today for most of the part.
