"Where's the Love?"

First of all, the title does not really have much to do with this post. Just a little phrase I miss hearing at times.

BUT this post is about "love"
In my life of David class, we have to write a little paper about the "love of David" to Saul, when he is being chased by him for his life.
What did it take David to love the way he loved Saul?
Any thoughts...?

His dependence on the redemption that God promised him. That's what I think.

(Nice picture at the top, a little stretched, but nice nonetheless. I may have to put one up myself.)

To know that in the end God was going to make all things right.

To understand that, just like Saul, he had the same potential to sin and fall.

To love God and allow the Lord to enable him to do what he could not on his own.
